Valavanathar temple at Valayathoor

There is a temple in Valayathoor a small town near Arcot. This temple is approx 800 yeras plus old built using heavy stones. The celing of the inside sanctum sanctorum is of hexagon type and
has interesting view. The deity Brihan nayaki is so beautiful , you can sit in front of her chanting
through out the day.This temple is in poor state and needs renovations.
My parents belongs to this place and we with the help of Philanthropists are going to renovate.
In this direction the Palalayam was conducted last month and a trust is beng formed.
The approx cost of renovation is 35Lacs plus. The government may help in the last stage.
The local people are extending their fullest co-operation and I am sure the temple will be back to past glory with a new look. wellwishers may participate in the noble cause and have the blessing of lord Valavanathar and Brihan nayaki ambal.
